A Little Assistance, Please

Have you ever been in a situation where you know that you have been truthful, honest and full of integrity but yet were still blamed for the situation? Or have you been falsely accused even when you had no part in a situation? I think many of us could answer yes to those questions. There will be times in our life we will be falsely accused, set up to take the fall, or even just a target of someone’s jealousy or anger. Leaving us feeling very attacked or even feel alone in the situation. Like no one cares, or can even help. One thing is for sure…God knows and He cares! In the Bible David was often in a place of despair and cried out to the Lord for help. Many of his psalms reflect his cries for help when the world seemed unjust. When David found himself in a situation that seemed impossible he would cried out to the Lord and ask for the Lord to vindicate him…and God did.

Psalm 26.1 for Devo #1There have been many times in my life that I found myself in a situation where I was being falsely accused, lied about and even the target of a person’s anger. It was in those times that I sought the Lord and asked, as David did, to be vindicated. God was faithful and proved my innocence. It often didn’t come right away but it did come.

If you find yourself in a situation where you feel unjustly accused, ask God to be your source of vindication and then step back and wait on God. He will show up and work it all out. It may not be exactly the way you wanted but for sure it will be the best outcome. Why? Because He loves YOU!
