Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday John 12-13 copy

Today is Palm Sunday!

Palm Sunday is the final Sunday before Easter and the day in Biblical history that Jesus entered Jerusalem prior to His death and Resurrection. As he entered the city people lined the streets with palm branches, giving this Sunday it’s name–Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday marks the first day of Holy Week.

Holy Week is one of the most significant events in Christian history. It is the week leading up to Jesus’ arrest, trial, conviction, suffering, Crucifixion and His victory over death on Easter Sunday.  You can read the full account of the Easter story in John 12 through John 20.

Have a blessed Palm Sunday and as you celebrate remember the One that makes our celebrations possible — Jesus.
