Sleep in Peace

At the end of a very busy and hectic day it is often hard to unwind and sleep.

We all have concerns and sometimes those concerns can be overwhelming and make it difficult to find peace in our minds and hearts. It’s easy to let our thought life rob us from peace and rest. Our minds can be our worst enemy–we overthink things–we hold on to things that we needed to let go. All of this can keep us from true rest.

Psalm 4:8 is a great reminder that as we lay down to sleep He keeps us safe. Safe from the troubles and concerns we faced for the day.

As you turn off your light and close your eyes give your cares to Him and trust Him for the night. His yoke is easy and His burden is light–Matthew 11:30.

Rest well tonight and have confidence in His provision for your sleep and peace.
